In lieu of recent snowfall and in some cases the hopeful expectation of snow, we have some entertaining videos . . enjoy : )

Well I guess snowboarding has made it to the runway. With snowboarding becoming more popular every year, high end fashion companies are trying to get in on this. There’s been a few collections  that have incorporated snowboarding or are even making a few boards themselves, lets take a look at some of these snowboard inspired runways pieces……

Announced as part of their 09 winter line, it’s a black high gloss board with a small chanel logo on the nose, not exactly sure who constructs the board, but the chanel logo ups the price to about $2,750!! Now we’ll know who the rich girls are on the mt…

The Balenciaga Binding Stiletto…

Made from old bindings featured in Balenciaga’s Fall 07 collection costing about $4175 USD!!

Now this doesn’t really come as a surprise to me, Ed Hardy’s Fall 09 line featuring swim and snow…

Emporio Armani, Winter 07. So this was a few years ago.. but I came across it, and my first reaction was to laugh…. can you imagine seeing a guy on the mountain wearing something like this?! cough*tool!*. But I guess the snowboard was designed in collaboration with Burton, so that’s pretty legit. But really Burton? Armani?

Well, there’s the runway fashion world of snowboarding. But if you want to stick to something a little easier on your bank account, and a lot lot cuter, then we got your back : )

Well technically speaking winter starts December 21st, but winter is upon is either way and we are completely stoked! It’s the season we’ve all been waiting for. Summer was great, but it’s good to be back to the brisk winter days, fresh powder, and mountain air… ahhhh. All of us at Betty Rides have been taking advantage of the early season and great conditions here at Mt.Hood.
